SMS opt-in, shown plainly.
The exact opt-in form a Cyphra customer sees during paid account setup — reproduced here for customers and carrier reviewers. This page is a mirror: it requests no number and records nothing.
Current status
Texting is not active yet. Carrier registration (10DLC A2P) is still in progress, so the form below is shown disabled. In the live setup wizard it becomes usable only when the channel is switched on.
Live availability is published at /api/setup/sms/status. While it reports pending, the wizard offers only a skip path and the consent endpoint refuses collection (503) before any data is stored.
The opt-in form — exact copy
Empty until the customer types their own number. Stored with the consent record — the agent sees only the last four digits.
I agree to receive text messages from my Cyphra agent at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes.
The checkbox starts unchecked and is never required to finish setup — skipping is always available. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

How the real flow works
- 01
A customer completes paid account setup at www.cyphra.io and reaches the final wizard step (Texting).
- 02
The customer may type their mobile number and voluntarily check the opt-in box — or choose “SKIP — NO TEXTING.” Consent is never a condition of purchase.
- 03
On opt-in, the number, UTC timestamp, client IP, form URL, disclosure version, checkbox state, and user agent are stored in an append-only ledger retained at least six years.
- 04
Once texting is live, the customer's own agent sends low-volume service texts — never marketing — only between 8am and 9pm the recipient's local time.
- 05
Every message carries STOP opt-out instructions; HELP returns help information. A reply to STOP permanently and globally stops texts to that number.
